05 November 2024
The upcoming JPL weekend has all the makings of a good time for a smart bet! Cercle and KVM are both ready to beat their opponents, but the competition is fierce on all fronts. Let’s look ahead to matchday 14 of the Belgian Pro League on 8, 9, and 10 November!
08/11 8.45 p.m.
Most likely to win: STVV
STVV is currently wasting away in the relegation zone. KV Mechelen, meanwhile, has its great form rewarded with spot 4. With so much at stake for STVV, home advantage will be decisive.
09/11 4 p.m.
Most likely to win: Antwerp
KV Kortrijk is another team that’s struggling to get out of the danger zone. Against Antwerp, third after 13 matches, it won’t be able to get the points it so direly needs.
09/11 6.15 p.m.
Most likely to win: OH Leuven
Dender has lost most of its early-season momentum, while OH Leuven has remained stagnant in the lower half of the ranking. Here’s an opportunity to bet on a lucrative away win.
09/11 8.45 p.m.
Most likely to win: Charleroi
Charleroi’s 13th place is not that indicative of its performances, but that’s football. It should be able to hold the 3 points at home against Westerlo here.
10/11 1.30 p.m.
Most likely to win: Anderlecht
With a victory, Cercle Brugge can fight its way back to the top half of the ranking. Anderlecht could escape Jan Breydel Stadium with a victory on the sly, though.
10/11 4 p.m.
Most likely to win: KAA Gent
KAA Gent needs another victory for a chance to get where it needs to be. Standard, for its part, is only 1 point behind its opponent from Ghent. At home, the Buffalos should win comfortably.
10/11 6.30 p.m.
Most likely to win: Union
Union’s campaign so far has seen a stark contrast with last season's strong performances. All the same, it should be able to (narrowly) beat leader KRC Genk at home.
10/11 7.15 p.m.
Most likely to win: Club Brugge
Week after week, Beerschot hasn’t shown enough to merit its JPL spot. Another defeat, this time at the hands of Club Brugge, seems only logical.
