Important update on sports betting from May 1, 2025

Starting May 1, 2025, a new requirement in the Belgian Gambling Act mandates that your identity must be verified before you can bet on sports.

 

Until April 30, 2025: You can register, deposit, and bet without your identity being verified. Verification will only be required when withdrawing funds.

Starting May 1, 2025: Your identity must be verified before you can place bets — even before making a deposit.
