15 January 2025
On Tuesday 21 January and Wednesday 22 January, the Champions League is back with some truly awesome football encounters. Club Brugge is tasked with upholding our Belgian honor at Europe’s most prestigious football stage. Can the black and blue team force a stunt against Juventus? That, and more, is what we’re previewing in our article today.
21/01 6.45 p.m.
Most likely to win: AS Monaco
AS Monaco needs a victory to make sure that it holds on to its knockout round spot. Aston Villa is relatively safe in fifth place, but will lose to a Monaco side that will fight with ambition.
21/01 9 p.m.
Most likely to win: Juventus
All things considered, Club Brugge’s Champions League campaign has been a commendable one. Up next, though: Juventus. The Italian side is expected to leave Jan Breydel with the win.
21/01 9 p.m.
Most likely to win: Atlético Madrid
Atlético can’t be too excited about its eleventh place at the moment, and will do everything it takes to improve its position. This will happen with a victory at the cost of Bayer Leverkusen.
21/01 9 p.m.
Most likely to win: Liverpool
Liverpool is the only team left that has a perfect 18 out of 18 points. It’s unlikely that Lille, of all teams, has what it takes to slay the Champions League juggernaut. Easy home win for the Reds.
21/01 9 p.m.
Most likely to win: Barcelona
No matter the competition, playing Benfica at home is always a tricky affair. However, there is little to nothing that the Portuguese side will be able to do to stop Barcelona from winning here.
22/01 9 p.m.
Most likely to win: Paris Saint-Germain
Imagine these 2 meeting in the final: what a treat for the fans! Both PSG and Man City have performed underwhelming so far, with neither certain of the next round. Home win for PSG.
22/01 9 p.m.
Most likely to win: Bayern Munich
Feyenoord and Bayern are only separated by 2 points, so a lot could change when the final whistle blows here! We have to give it to the Germans here, though.
22/01 9 p.m.
Most likely to win: Arsenal
Arsenal is still going strong in its Champions League campaign. A victory would solidify its third place, if not improve upon it. GNK Dinamo from Zagreb, Croatia, will suffer defeat here.
