ATP Finals: who takes the final trophy of 2024?

Tennis fans, heads up: from 10 till 17 November, we’re treated to the ATP Finals! Eight of the best tennis players compete for one last trophy of the season. There’s no Djokovic this year, but with the likes of Sinner and Alcaraz, there’s still plenty of tennis action to look forward to. Let’s take a look at what’s at stake, and how we can play our way to a smarter bet!

The tournament and the contenders

The ATP Finals, held every year at the end of the season, are the most important tennis tournament for men after the Grand Slam Events (Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon, US Open). This final event of the tennis calendar is open to only the eight highest-ranking (and available) players of the year. Singles as well as doubles will fight for the 2024 title.

Most likely to win: Jannik Sinner

Just a while back, Jannik Sinner was cleared after allegations of doping surfaced. It seems that he used this nasty episode as fuel towards one final performance. Last year, Novak Djokovic defeated him in the final, so with his biggest rival out of the picture, could Sinner have the tournament all to himself? Along the way, he’ll have to get past stars like Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz…
