Pro League: who will come out best in round 5?

So after round 4 of the Belgian Pro League, the drama continues to unfold on 24 and 25 August. The league table is already seeing some surprising shifts, with Westerlo losing their unbeaten record and Dender holding onto a strong 3rd place. Meanwhile, Club Brugge is still struggling to get out of the lower regions, currently sitting at a disappointing 13th.

Here's who we think will come out on top in the upcoming matches:

KVC Westerlo vs. OH Leuven

On 24 August at 6.15 pm

Most likely to win: Westerlo  

Westerlo will be eager to bounce back from their first loss, and we expect them to secure a win at home against Leuven.

Royal Antwerp FC vs. KV Mechelen

On 24 August at 8.45 pm

Most likely to win: Antwerp

With their strong squad and home advantage, Antwerp should have no trouble overcoming KV Mechelen.

FCV Dender EH vs. Club Brugge

On 25 August at 2.30 pm

Most likely to win: Club Brugge (but a draw might be likely as well)  

Just like last weekend’s win, Club Brugge needs a new win to start climbing the table. But don’t underestimate Dender, who are surprisingly sitting in 3rd place.

St. Truidense VV vs. Union Saint-Gilloise

On 25 August at 4 pm

Most likely to win: Union
 
Union’s offensive power should help them secure a win in this tricky away game.

Standard Luik vs. K Beerschot VA

On 25 August at 6.30 pm

Most likely to win: Standard  

Standard's quality at home makes them favourites to take all three points against Beerschot. However, don’t underestimate Beerschot’s manager Kuyt, who is determined to get his first win – the winner he has always been at Feyenoord Rotterdam.

Sporting Charleroi vs. KV Kortrijk

On 25 August at 7.15 pm

Most likely to win: Charleroi
 
Charleroi should be able to handle Kortrijk and claim a crucial victory.
